We are your authority for all things politics. From the Grand Junction Sentinel:
Lt. Gov. Jane Norton wants another shot at the same job in a new administration, political observers said Thursday.
The Grand Junction native who was selected four years ago by Bill Owens as his running mate for his second term, is the choice of Bob Beauprez, the GOP candidate for governor, according to the Web site www.Coloradopols.com.
Of course, we didn’t really break this story. But, hey, they spelled our name right.

Four years ago, Bill Owens’ attempt to surprise Colorado with the announcement of his running mate flopped because someone in her office at the CDPHE leaked to the press the fact that Jane had an emergency session with her hairdresser placed on her schedule.
“Emergency” session with her hairdresser? Honestly?
These are the type of candidates the Republicans put in fron of us? A man who sees and talks to dead people and a vain woman that call for an emergency session with her hairdresser. What happened to the rugged republicans that had once been a formidable and admirable party in Colorado? Have they been completely replaced by the country club elites?
Would love to debate this GB but have a 3 PM tee time at DCC you know. After that off to the spa. Tell the BB help not to put the yard signs to close to the bonsais. Ta ta !
Dahling, only a plebian would dream of golfing there. I’m off to hobnob at Castle Pines with Phil Anschutz, then I’m going to jet over to Telluride to shower in a waterfall. Ancient Ute secret of eternal youth, you know.
Castle Pines is overrun with tourists. It’s the International, you know. Besides, the Sanctuary is the place to be. Wonderful crab cakes and mint julep’s.
While Im not a member of any of those clubs, and I play on the dog tracks known as public golf courses, this is not an amusing anecdote but it represents the type of party the republicans have become. There are the extremists (Schultheis & Welker) and then there are the Elites who both believe in a members only type of government. “It’s for us to decide on how you should live” has become their platform.
As Ive been saying for months, any running mate already heavily involved in this republican party is going to be another anchor for BothWays, and Calamity Jane may just take the cake.
All TRUE republicans take their baths in the oil fields by rangely. youre a RINO!!!!
Tomorrow i go to the ranch to get a facial using a paste made from the horn of white rhinos. Afterwards Emeril will whip me up some blue-crab-and-jellyfish compote (the latest thing in Paris). Did I mention that Heidi Klum will loofah me in the waterfall?
than O’Reilly loofah!
You guys (and Gary Harmon at the Sentinel) are going to need one to get the egg off your faces after Owens picks someone else (other than Norton).
He’s actually a bigger idiot than you guys since he’s a legitimate reporter.
It is not surprising at all that this site always gets ‘inside’ info on the GOP side wrong while your record on inside Dem information is remarkably accurate (and much more frequent).
I didn’t realize Owens was making the pick. Was that a freudian slip or is Owens really pulling all the strings?
Funny. And true, I am sure. But with Owens in charge, you’d think the campaign would be doing better.
He’s in charge of Trailhead, and is giving direction. I dont see why he wouldn’t pick BothWaysBob running mate since Bob can’t seem to do anything for himself without screwing it up.
